Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX Solution for Small Business

SoftQuest's Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX solution allows your business to take full advantage of the VoIP revolution. With Vgate you can create an internal telephone network that runs over your local area network (LAN), or across the internet. This means that your staff can call each other for free whether they are in the next office or in an office on the other side of the world.

Vgate IP PBX/PABX also supports all the features that you would expect from an advanced PBX system such as automatic call distribution, callback, call monitoring, IVR menu systems as well as the basic office phone features such as voicemail, call transferring and call redirecting. Vgate can dramatically reduce the cost of you telephone bill. SoftQuest's Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX hosted services allows you to take full advantage of our up-stream phone carriers. Call anywhere in the world to a standard land-line (POTS), mobile phone or VoIP phone at a fraction of the cost of a regular phone call. Vgate allows this to happen by routing your telephone call over the internet (using VoIP technology) to the telephone service provider in the destination country. The call is then routed the to the destination phone. This means that for most of the call distance the call is being carried over the internet for free.

Subscribing to SoftQuest's Vgate hosted service also means that you save money on equipment outlay and subscription to up-stream provider services should you want to make calls outside of your own network.

 

Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX Solution for Large Enterprise

For large Enterprise SoftQuest Solutions offers a complete VoIP PBX system and support service that allows companies to deploy a professional telephony infrastructure. The Vgate IP PBX/PABX system integrates seamlessly with POTS analog telephone lines, other VoIP networks and T1/ISDN lines.

With SoftQuest's VoIP solution you can:

  • Make free calls between offices.
  • Have a remote office that can be taken anywhere, all you need is a broadband connection and you can take your number anywhere in the world.
  • Make conference calls
  • Make video calls and video conference calls
  • Direct inbound calls with an advance Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system
  • Distribute inbound calls with Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) - essential for helpdesk and customer support areas. Available ringing strategies include multiple, ring-all, least call rings, hunt ringing, and expert ringer.
  • Install multiple PBXs in different locations, allowing routing of calls through several company owned PBXs. External and inbound calls from commercial telephone networks can also be routed through the company's PBX network. This means that an employee in one city can call an standard land-line number in another city by going through the company's PBX system in the caller's city and routing it to the PBX in the destination city which then dials the external number locally.
  • Make the cheapest possible calls using Least Cost Route (LCR). LCR. is system that is used to determine which endpoints should receive a call depending on the base cost of the call. During a LCR-based call the call is typically sent to the provider with the least call rate.
  • Use Remote Authentication Dial In User Service (RADIUS) authentication. RADIUS authenticates users and services that they are trying to access. Once authorised, access to network and the requested service is granted.
  • Provide backup call routing using Automatic Route Failover. This allows calls to be routed differently should one the PBXs in a multiple PBX setup fail.
  • Monitor and Record inbound and outbound calls.

 

Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX Solution for Telecommunications Carriers

Vgate VoIP PBX/PABX solution is the perfect solution for Telecommunication Carriers and ISPs that want to provide a VoIP service. The Billing, Customer Support modules along with a multiple PBX configuration allows ISPs and telcos to provide an international VoIP service. SoftQuest's Vgate will allow you to connect to call carriers from around the world. These call carriers can either carriers that your business subscribes to, or you can allow SoftQuest to route the calls for you. The Vgate VoIP gateway can terminate calls to E1/T1 trunks as well as routing calls through to upstream providers.

Vgate's billing module allows the configuration and management of the various costs and charges for different services/products. Also Call Detail Records (CDRs) are kept for every inbound and outbound calls. Vgate combined with SoftQuest's BillQuest mass billing system provides an advanced scaleable and configurable billing system to suit the needs of all telcos / ISPs allowing for:

  • Post paid and prepaid services
  • PIN generation for calling card solutions
  • One-off and periodical charges
  • Multiple changes
  • Customer portals, allowing viewing of bills, online payments, call history and other account information
  • Automated service provisioning for new VoIP subscribers
  • DID (Direct Inward Dialing) number generation system - this allows DID numbers to be created in the system by entering a range. DIDs entered this way will be created with the same characteristics.

SoftQuest Solutions will soon be releasing a Media Gateway module for Vgate. The Media Gateway will provide a media-on-demand service to customers - allowing customers to select entertainment options over the VoIP network. Music, Videos and other data can be streamed either real-time or off-line from the media gateway to the customer's device. This device can be a Web based VideoPhone or any other A/V device including a mobile phone. It also allows for on-line conferencing. The bandwidth of the customers device is controlled by the BillQuest Application and ensures that the customer's bandwidth is properly managed and the ISP has control over media delivery across the network.
